On a hard launch the end case on the 6 speed 3000GT VR4 or Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo transmission can split open, ruining most of the gear box.

We consulted with Craftworks Industries on this on a number of improvements over both previously available billet cases and addressed design flaws and weaknesses in the factory part.
 
1)Threaded in end case input shaft cap with o-ring seal. No more trying to dig or pry out the rubber seal or having it pop out. The rubber seal is also no longer available. We have a few hundred for rebuilds, but after that there is no replacement.
2)O-Ring seal plate on rail holes instead of core plugs like the factory used. This allows for complete cleaning of the rails doing service, but a positive seal and much easier to work with than the freeze plugs the factory uses.
3)Fully bushed shift rail guides in the end case instead of just the 1/2 fork like the factory used. This will ensure long life, less galling of the case, and smoother shift feel.
4)No 90 degree angles to create stress fractures.
5)Remove the bulge/flag part on the top of the case that hits the frame rail during installation.
6)Obviously this is made from a far better alloy (7075) than the original OEM cast part and beefed up everywhere possible to eliminate transmission destroying end case failure the stock part can see after a ton of launches.
 
This includes allen bolts for the outside, but everything else must be transferred from your old end case, including input shaft end case bearing, retainer, and reverse idler. We will include a new reverse idler bearing as that is almost impossible to remove from your old end case.

Please note these require professional installation. The entire transmission must be re-shimmed to ensure bearing life and quiet operation.
