Billet Transfer Case Mid Housing

These 7075 Billet Aluminum transfer case housings for the 3000GT VR4 or Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo AWD platform have been long awaited and are the perfect solution to your transfer case woes!

The stock transfer cases are made from thin cast aluminum and will crack under hard launches or prolonged high HP stresses. Braces can help to mitigate this issue, but the true bullet proof solution is a full billet case.

These replace the mid case only, the main housings are in R&D. These cases have been thoughtfully designed, including not having material where it isn’t needed to save precious weight, and little details like an access hole to tighten the hard to reach mid to main housing bolts.

Transfer Case Breather System

If you have ever noticed fluid leaking out of the top of your transfer case, particularly after a high speed run you may be a victim of the poorly design OEM breather design. Fluid tends to creep up and come out of the case, especially sticky fluids like Redline Shockproof Heavy, which is EXCELLENT for protection your gears, but not if you lose it out your breather.

The included transfer case breather system consists of fittings and hose to create a leak free firewall mounted breather system. If any oil escapes out of the breather it will drain back into the case without leaving a mess and leaving your transfer case dangerously low. The high quality fittings fit into your pre-threaded hole on the billet transfer case for a fool proof installation.

Hardware

Each billet case unit will include new grade 10.9 hardware, so you don’t have to clean up or use rusted or worn fasteners. The oem bolts are only grade 8.8, so this is also a strength increase.

Transfer Case Builds

Like any replacement driveline cases you will need to setup the gear mesh, pre-load, and backlash of your unit. We highly recommend professional installation services, such as our transfer case build service to protect your investment and get the most out of your unit. Improperly installation can lead to bearing and gear failure, case damage, or even the unit locking up and causing an accident. Due to the nature of this we have to add the disclaimer “for off road use only”.

This is for ONE Billet Mid Case. These require a “big bearing” (bolt in the side cover) t-case core for its gears and tailshaft.
